Spring Washers

Split and locking washers that resist loosening under vibration and thermal cycling.

Product Overview

What it is, and what decides it.

A spring washer holds tension in a joint after the initial tightening, which is what resists loosening when the assembly is subject to vibration or repeated thermal movement. Its value is entirely in its spring temper — a washer that has been over-flattened or incorrectly treated does nothing.

Spring washers are supplied to the specified section and temper, with finish matched to the fastener assembly.
